Supporting LGBTQ+ geoscientists, in and out of the classroom

- shut down homophobic/transphobic comments;
- signal allyship – e.g., safe space indicators;
- staff know university LGBTQ+ resources;
- instructors planning fieldwork be aware of potential dangers/harm to LGBTQ+ students and plan rooms considering all genders;
- celebrate achievements of LGBTQ+ staff and students.
